I was looking for a new USB drive of higher capacity and with a good Cut-Copy-Paste speed. I bought my new laptop from Amazon a few months back and as it has USB 3.0 port I opted for a USB 3.0 pendrive. This pendrive comes SanDisk secureaccess which encrypts your pendrive with a password and you can only open it and view by logging in the password which you have set ( using the software).
Now lets come to the design. The design of the pendrive is thumb friendly which means that I don’t need to apply unnecessary pressure to the pendrive to open it, and I received it in black color which was pretty awesome.
Read Write Speed.
The read speed of this USB drive is mind-blowing . I managed to take the screenshot of the file I copied from the USB drive and it averaged around 132 MB/s . Also when I moved the same file to my desktop the speed was around 121 MB/s. but the write speed is a bit slow though not disappointing and averaged around 35 – 44 MB/s.
Anyone looking for a USB 3.0 pen drive can go for this without any second thought.
If you are a tech enthusiast or anyone who really admires the beauty with elegance and performance just go for it. You wouldn’t find anything this good at this price range.

USB 3.0:
tired of 4-12 mbps transfer of your usb2.0? Well i got 33 MB/S read and 25.75 MB/S write for a 1000 MB test of crystaldiskmark. And this too on a USB 2.0 port. In real world you will get a small fraction lesser than test speeds. So Buy USB3.0 pendrive even if you have a usb2.0 port. you will get these transfer speeds.(note: max speed that a usb 2.0 can give is approx 35MB/s(usb3.0 = 640mbps). So if you try to connect two devices and transfer, you might get half of that transfer speed for each device)
In USB 3.0 read speeds go upto 75 and write speeds to 30. Transferring large files with ISO or video formats is really fast. But same amount of smaller files like images mp3 doc etc, speeds get reduced.
Dont listen to people who say “Buying USB 3.0 pendrive when your computer only has USB 2.0 port is a waste of money because you will only get USB 2.0 speeds.” its true you get USB2.0 speeds only, buy you get FULL USB 2.0 speed, approx 30mbps. SO BUY USB3.0 PENDRIVE. plus in future you will have a device which will have USB3.0

Well I must say, the design is robust and really kept customers mind

The Drive is about 3 centimeters long and about 2 centimeters wide. There is a full size USB 3.0 connector on one end. The center of the drive has a metal ring that allows you to attach a lanyard if needed. Switching the drive over to the OTG connection reveals a full size micro USB connection ready to go.
The SanDisk Ultra Dual is factory formatted with the FAT32 file system and offers 28.9GB of capacity.
The drive was capable of 110 – 120 MB/s read and 15-20 MB/s write.
Mounted on a Nexus 5 I was able to play a 1080P Full HD MKV file (11GB total file size) with no issues at all.
As mentioned already the slider mechanism is a little hard and does not inspire the greatest confidence. I fear that this will be the first part to fail but only time and usage will tell.
So far I am happy with the drive’s performance.
It is my personal favourite. You can’t expect more at this price range. It is high-speed pendrive with ultra low profile and small shape which makes it very easy to hide. Tiny but high capacity and high speed USB 3.0 speed even with USB 2.0 ports. I have tested this pendrive on both USB 3.0 as well as USB 2.0 Ports. Also compared this pendrive with USB 2.0 pendrive with both USB 3.0 Ports as well as USB 2.0 Ports. I have USB 3.0 Ports installed on my desktop motherboard using Transcend USB 3.0 PCI Card. I didn’t find any cons with this pendrive. Rather its very small and therefore sometime user may find heating problem. But that is expected due to its smaller size as smaller size doesn’t radiate heat well but this heating doesn’t affect the transfer rate or performance of the pendrive at all.
I did check this pendrive with Car Stereo. Its working fine with most without any obstruction as I came across some reviews mentioning that songs play stuck up in Car Stereo Systems.
